This is a patrol from Company A, 1st Engineers.  The date was September 11, 1944.  It is in the town of Clermont, Belgium.  The soldiers from left to right are; Sergeant John Tait, Pvt Bill Clements (in the back), Pvt Clark (helmet on),  Pvt Sam McFalls, Lt. Kosorek, T/5 Carmichael (driver).  This is the 1st squad, 2nd platoon, company A of the 1st Engineers.  The picture was taken in Normandy.
